I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, they remember more. Light bulbs click.  Eyes shine! We have a growing collection of their homeschool journey lining our bookshelves.

This is not how homeschooling was supposed to be!

Our curriculum just isn’t working. My child hates writing. How do I homeschool multiple children and not lose my mind? I’m tired of all this busywork. My child’s not motivated (honestly, I’m not motivated). I need to simplify our day. Would love to add delight-directed learning to our day. My kids aren’t retaining anything. Want something to cement what we are learning. Need more variety in our day. Tired of wasting money on resources we don’t use. Want a more personalized education. Want an easier way to keep track of what we are learning. Kids can’t wait for the school day to FINALLY be over. Want something tangible to help lessons "stick". Want my children to learn, not just pass a test. Want my kids to enjoy learning without having to prod. Feel like we are not getting enough done. We are so bored!

Take a peek into my homeschool story.

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (Part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (Part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
The Victory over Busywork and Overwhelm (Part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

I now have a LIFETIME membership. Your pages are very worth while as they are comprehensive, and make it easy to find what I need. If you don't have something for a specific topic, no problem. Your basic pages pack has something that will fit right in. I think just your collection of basic pages have been used enough times to make it worth what I paid.

We have really enjoyed notebooking in our homeschool and truly appreciate all the information that you have about it. We've now managed to work it smoothly into our days. Often times when teaching it is (obviously) not just enough to spout off facts and expect the kids to remember it. With the notebooking pages I don't have to spend lots of time looking for comprehension activities...just print out a notebooking page and set the kids to work! I only wish I could have done notebooks as a kid.

I just had to share how wonderful and what a godsend this site has been for us.I used to come out here and print off your free products. They worked so well for our studies that I had to buy a treasury membership(we are currently studying ancient Egypt). Imagine my surprise when I opened my e-mail to find out that I had won the 2011 expo from TOS.Thank You so much for the exceptional products you produce at such a reasonable price. HS mom of 7.

I love the flexibility that notebooking approach to homeschool has done for my family. It’s given me direction to how to keep it organized! I also love that I can print right off the website. No need to download it. It doesn’t need to take up space in my laptop, because there are so much to use. I’m really happy we became a member.

We have used notebookingpages since the very beginning…and they just keep getting better! Now with the Notebooking Publisher it has opened up SO MANY new ways to use it. I would highly recommend this to any homeschooler. It is a great value!

Over the years, we've used many of the notebooking pages. We've used the Famous People notebooking pages to help with our history and science studies. My boys especially like them because then they know they have a 'finite' space in which to write their reports. It's not just an open-ended "Write a report about George Washington Carver." They know it has to fit on that one page, with space for 1 or more pictures they can either draw or cut-n-paste.

Love all the products despite my daughter having dysgraphia making writing anything a challenge. I have been able to pick and choose from many of the freebies that do work for her and have used them in several subjects. I especially like the science experiment freebie pages with boxes to draw in. Thanks for making them available.

I bought the [LIFETIME] membership and have LOVED every page. My kids enjoy then too. From my 10 year old, down to my 2 year old. I love the freedom to 'shop' for whatever notebooking pages I need and not worry about how much it's going to cost. The membership was money VERY well spent!

Since 2011 I’ve been using the notebooking pages for most of our kids’ work in history, science, handwriting, Artist and composer studies, health, and even language arts. Once a month or so when we have new topics lined, I just go to the site and download what I need. I love that the pages are so versatile – I can use them for narration, lapbooking, color or draw and then just compile all their work in a folder. The kids love that they can have options (instead not notetaking/narration all the time which can be taxing for a younger child). And they get inspired by the pictures they see – which makes thinking of what to write easier.

I purchased my membership in August 2012, and it has been one of the most valuable homeschooling investments I have made. We use Apologia science and have been using NotebookingPages.com for the notebooking assignments instead of purchasing their preprinted books. My boys really enjoy using the Notebooking Publisher to make their own pages. I’m really excited about all the new features that are being added!

We have been using the State Notebooking pages since the summer of 2008...and we LOVE THEM. There are several different pages that just are not included in any other state packages we have looked at. You will not find a better resource anywhere else!
