I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

Mom of 10 ... ages young to adult

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, quite frankly, the knowledge STICKS. Lightbulbs click and eyes shine! We have a growing treasury of their homeschooling journey.

My mission is to help YOU break free from busywork, burnout, and overwhelm
to find success and freedom for YOUR children.

Discouraged or frustrated with your current homeschooling situation? Please check out the posts below.

These posts give you a glimpse of my path from doom & gloom to victory!

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
Victory over Busywork, Boredom, & Burnout (part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

I have always wanted to make custom pages for my children so they could tailor their specific lessons for themselves. notebookingpages.com allows me to do this for each of my children and it’s very easy to use. Thank you for creating this for us homeschooling moms who love to use notebooking as an added tool to teach our kids.

The character training notebooking pages have been such a help to me as I have been trying to teach my children the character traits that we all need to grow in. With pages like “Sewing seeds of….” and pages with lines and spaces for pictures, I can adapt the pages to whichever character trait we are studying at the time. I can have my children write in “Obedience” or “Attentiveness” after the “Sewing seeds of…” and then we go from there. I also love the page that says “What God says about….” Then we can look up the Bible verses that talk about obedience an write them out. The versatility of these pages is wonderful. Thank you for such a great product at such a great price.

I love the treasury membership to Notebooking Pages. It is easy to create notebooks for each of my children. They can pick what they want their individual notebooks to look like even when we are doing the same subject. It saves me lots of time and energy!

We have been using the [LIFETIME Membership] this year in conjunction with Sonlight history, and it has added a WONDERFUL dimension to our history time. The variety of page styles allows my 6 year old to choose a page with blocks for drawing, my 9 year old to have one with blocks and lines for a little note-taking, and my 12 year old to have mostly or all lines, ALL with coordinating artwork that matches the day's reading! We also use the copy work pages for handwriting- each has their favorite style they are using to create their "book of quotes."

Thanks for such a great resource, at a great price- that I can use through the years with each of my kids!

Basic Notebooking Pages are my standard go to! I have other downloads but these are great for our CM homeschool. After reading a book, doing a science experiment or what ever, the Basic Pages have so many different layouts that suite any sort of review. They are quick to print (usually I decide to use after we finish a book) I am not a planner, and that is what is great about them, different styles to suite any need. And they look great when the children are done. Great for samples for our portfolio, they look like a lot of time was invested in them.

We have 10 dc so for simplicity- go with the Basic Notebooking Pages. LOVE 'em

My children do not really like to write, but they are a little less reluctant with the beautifully decorated pages. I also really appreciate the selection of pages for history. It seems every topic we need is included.

I also appreciate the selection of design styles. As I have one child who likes to illustrate her writings I can choose a page or two which have an area for her to draw on along with her writing. Then for my son I can chose a different design as he doesn’t care to draw.

The state pages are great as well. They cover just about every important fact about each state.

Being a new Lifetime Member and an “older” homeschooling Mom (having married children, being a grandparent, but also still teaching younger ones), I would have LOVED having l this wonderful plethora of pages of “simplicity” at my fingertips years ago. But I am so very thankful for all the work Debra has done to make it easier for me now. I have already put some pages to “good use”… and have plans for lots more for the near future. As I share with younger moms….. keeping “things” simple is a key factor in opening the door to genuine learning!!

Totally worth it! Notebooking made our history lessons more fun and interesting. Way better than taking a test.

I am new to notebooking and I am just amazed at all that is offered on this website not only to help me get started, but also to keep me going for years to come. We’re starting slow, and just using a few of the membership items right now like some history pages, copywork pages and science experiment pages. I look forward to learning more and watching more tutorial videos on this site to help me as we continue on our notebooking and homeschooling journey. Thank you for this valuable resource!!

Notebooking Pages is our go to site for all our Notebooking needs. My daughter especially loves Notebooking Publisher. This site motivates her to want to create and learn. She is retaining more information than ever, and is even working above grade level. We discovered Notebooking within months of beginning our homeschool journey, I couldn’t imagine educating any other way. My daughter wouldn’t want to learn in any other way.
Though my daughter has always been a good student, she wasn’t an independent thinker when it came to learning, unlike her older siblings. She just read what she was told, answered questions at the end of a chapter, and took a test. Then we began homeschooling in 6th grade, now approaching the end of 7th grade, my daughter actually makes out her own schedule of what she wants to read and Notebook on, she has taken initiative in her own education. She now has an interest in History, Classical Music, Art, Literature, and chooses topics most kids wouldn’t.

Like you, I had preconceived notions of the “perfect” homeschool education. I spent a great deal of money our first year on material she never even used. Then when I discovered notebooking, we invested in paper, art supplies, a comb binder, laminator and a library card. She is a happier student, I am a happier mom.

I think Notebooking should be an educational law. I apologize for my lengthy reply, but I have become not only passionate about Notebooking, but a huge advocate. Your site is easy to navigate, and offers a wide variety of subjects and topics. Though we follow a Charlotte Mason style curriculum, Notebooking truly will work with any style or methods of teaching.
