What a blessing you are to so many homeschooling families! Notebooking is the answer to my prayers!
It seemed like our homeschool was lacking something. The workbooks were dry & boring or repetitive. I discovered your site a year ago, purchased a year membership & we started our notebooking adventure! We have slowly integrated it into our homeschool day & now we are ready to start using it with all of our subjects. It was hard to tell myself to put those workbooks & other materials we purchased out of site & stick with the notebooking. I can see the difference in my kids, they like school, they want to do more!
My children really enjoy being creative with their notebook pages. Notebooking is helping me to teach language arts to my children the natural way with out all the boring workbooks that sometimes bring tears. This method of homeschooling has inspired my children to learn, to explore, to be creative and to write!
My year membership just expired & I knew I had to purchase a lifetime membership this time around! I am looking forward to all of the awesome notebooks they will create in the future! I had heard about notebooking for years, but I just KNEW my kids weren’t that into taking notes. As we read history, for instance, I would mention things they needed to write down, and the response was moaning, groaning, and slow motion, then messy, if any notes. Last week, for science, I needed a skeleton page to label, and we had been studying the Explorers. I prayed, talked to my husband, and took the plunge. We purchased the notebooking membership to save my time. I immediately printed off an Explorers page, a map, and 2 explorers pages each. The pages were met with colored pencils, immediate attention, and almost excitement. Even my 15 yo, who isn’t required with the younger few, sat down and did notes!! Lots of notes. They were engaged, asked spelling, dates, and listened. The 6yo kept up with the others, and had the cutest notes ever!! I’m surprised, and SOLD on notebooking 😉

I am getting ready to start the Colonial times with her and focus on the Revolutionary War so that she can understand why we have the freedoms we do today and why it is important to ensure that her children have them as well.

After looking at the idea of notebooking for the last two years…we are DOING IT this year! I have looked at your site off and on as well as many others and even contemplated making my own pages for a million different topics but the realization that I came to every time was that the page I would create would be JUST LIKE what I see on your site! The details, the space to write, the different formats for different ages, the massive number of subject areas…the reasons are absolutely endless that I finally committed and bought my Lifetime membership to start using! We are so tired of book work alone and this has led all of to just dread school time and the threats of them having to get on that big yellow bus at the crack of dawn have been flowing more and more freely in our home! With 5 kids…4 of which will be school age this fall I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to introduce this into our schooldays! We can do so much more together and tie in everything I have always wanted to with Music, Science, and History! I am so excited for our new year again and I wanted to tell you thank you so much for allowing me the freedom of not recreating the wheel!!! Anyone on the fence, don’t wait as long as I did! Jump on in…it feels great!!!

Notebooking is a great way to school because you can do as much or as little of it as you want to. Our family uses notebooking techniques for history and science and it works for kids who are artsy and for those who are not. Some of our kids just like to write and get it done with and others like to decorate their pages to no end and it works for both. I really appreciate the endless pages at NotebookingPages.com. There is a page that will fit with just about anything that we want to do.

I’m a homeschooling mom of 4 children who are various ages. One child has moderate/severe ADHD. We’ve tried various ways of learning and found that notebooking and lapbooking was the most successful and the best received. We’ve been using these wonderful notebooking pages for years! Each time we begin a new unit, I simply log in to print the needed pages and we are on our way to another great learning adventure. These pages have saved me so much time over the years and I am truly grateful for all of your efforts. I always recommend these pages to friends and family!

We started out using the ABC books and have moved up as my children get older. We now use the history pages with our Story of the World studies. We use the science sheets to keep up with experiments with Apologia. One of the things I like most about the pages is that you can use them in so many ways and with so many programs! I love too that I can hop on and print out EXACTLY what I need…like the president pages that we used to study through all the presidents! Recently Debra added a program to write your own copywork sheets in CURSIVE!!! No more buying copybooks that “aren’t quite right!” Now I can make my own and have exactly what we need (with pictures too!!) I cannot wait to get started. We benefit in so many ways from these pages and I appreciate NOT having to do the work! 🙂
My only regret is waiting so long to become a lifetime member.
I have been using the “freebies” for some time. I have gotten a whole lot of mileage out of the lined papers and the science experiment papers. I have used several others as well. This is my 3rd year homeschooling, and although I use a curriculum, I use the pages to supplement what we are doing. In science, we use the experiment pages to take notes and create easy study pages. I use the history pages for the same purpose. However, I keep coming back to the site to find more pages as we advance in our studies. I am seeing so many exciting pages, for geography, anatomy, history that I kept longing for that weren’t freebies. I just jumped in today and purchased the lifetime membership, and my creative ideas are flowing. I can’t wait to use the pages in conjunction with our curriculum to enhance what we are learning, instead of just flying over the materials. My child gets excited about history, so now we can create a notebook of her favorite topics. The possibilities are endless! My only regret is waiting so long to become a lifetime member.

After many times of wanting to take the plunge, today I did just that. I bought the lifetime membership, and I’m so glad I did. I’m truly blown away by the pages and topics offered. It has got me revved up again and ready to dig in with my kids. I’ve already printed off pages and the kids have ran, dug out books and began researching so they can do their fun pages. Thank you for saving me time and helping my kids learn in fun ways. I believe learning that’s enjoyed is learning that stays. Keep up the good work and may God bless you for all your hard work. My kids ages are 15, 13, 9, and 8. They are all as excited as I am. The best part is I can print off the pages we need and take them with us everywhere we go.

We are loving notebooking! Let me just say it has completely changed our school for the better. Now the girls are really excited to “do school”. I was about to give up even though I knew it was what God wanted us to do. School was just drudgery. This has breathed new life into our home and days. How could something so simple provide such relief? If you can’t enjoy what you are doing, then, what is the point? We are so happy to be notebooking.

I am a former public school teacher of 13 years. When I began homeschooling my children 2 years ago, I desperately wanted to find something that could help me create the kind of notebooks and folder books that I used with my public school children. I didn’t have to look far. When I found your site, I knew that it would be a perfect fit for our family! My children and I have absolutely loved using all aspects of the program. Their notebooks and folder books are filled with interesting and detailed information that they are proud to show to others and want to keep for future reference. I highly recommend it for all homeschoolers because it can be used for so many different subjects and presentation formats. I wish I could remember how I was initially introduced to notebooking. I believe I Providentially stumbled upon this website for it has been the springboard for major changes in our home.
After almost a decade of homeschooling, I knew what I wanted our schooling to look like, but at the same time I knew it was looking less and less like my vision. When I discovered these notebooking pages, I decided to use the freebies offered to try it out with my children. They didn’t really notice a difference at first, so I began substituting some of our “independent” work with more notebooking pages. I was so pleased with the outcome. My children were becoming masters of the material we studied!
I was sold! I purchased the Notebooking Pages Membership during the Fall Sale and took advantage of the other bonuses offered. I asked for the Epi Kardia curriculum for Christmas and was again very pleased.
My children were not as optimistic as I was about starting “another new curriculum.” I was so pleased yesterday to hear my oldest son comment, “Is this what we’re going to do more of? This is really fun!” I am now spending time reading all those wonderful books with my children, exploring the volumes of creative notebooking pages for ways to express what we’ve learned, and sharing it all with excitement to Daddy when he comes home. What a blessing this has been for our family.
The key to our successful transition to notebooking was the wonderfully helpful emails that I received the first couple weeks after my registration on the website. Each email walked me through the process of incorporating these into our schooling. Without that I would have been too overwhelmed to know where to start. Instead it was an exciting process and a gradual (more permanent) transition.
