I am a former public school teacher of 13 years. When I began homeschooling my children 2 years ago, I desperately wanted to find something that could help me create the kind of notebooks and folder books that I used with my public school children. I didn’t have to look far. When I found your site, I knew that it would be a perfect fit for our family! My children and I have absolutely loved using all aspects of the program. Their notebooks and folder books are filled with interesting and detailed information that they are proud to show to others and want to keep for future reference. I highly recommend it for all homeschoolers because it can be used for so many different subjects and presentation formats. I am very excited about being able to save information in the new teacher and student accounts! This takes Notebooking Pages to a whole new level!!

I cannot even begin to say how much your site has changed my life! Sound melodramatic? Perhaps, if anything, it is an understatement! After homeschooling our 2 older children through middle and high school and then starting from the beginning with the three younger ones (9, 6, 3) I was feeling overwhelmed and stagnant. I saw my children getting bored and frankly, so was I. How was I going to keep this up? I began praying for God to inspire me with a way to teach my children that would bring fun back into learning and would, at the same time, give me confidence that they were learning what they needed to. It was within a week that I stumbled upon (through God’s grace and love for his struggling children like me) Debra’s website. Of course, I did my own homework and looked into several other sites offering similar services, but NONE of them offered what Debra does; and to be honest, I don’t know HOW she manages to do it! If I tried to make my own templates I’d be so frustrated! (and I have tried in the past) This site allows me to have access to everything I need for school and print it off quickly without feeling like I wasted my time at my computer…time that could be spent delving into books with my children and having fun. I LOVE the new publisher feature that will allow my children freedom to create their own unique pages as they get older. I have to be honest, when we first started notebooking it was intimidating and scary for me…I wanted to DO it RIGHT…but that’s the magic in this kind of learning: there is no RIGHT way! I just think of it now like a journal of all the things we like to talk about. Pictures, drawing, writing, etc…my children LOVE looking through their notebooks frequently and I LOVE to see concrete evidence that they are learning. I was thrilled to find your site. I had been searching for different ideas to use with my daughter that are more creative. This site has given me so many options. I am getting ready to start the Colonial times with her and focus on the Revolutionary War so that she can understand why we have the freedoms we do today and why it is important to ensure that her children have them as well.

Notebooking is a great way to school because you can do as much or as little of it as you want to. Our family uses notebooking techniques for history and science and it works for kids who are artsy and for those who are not. Some of our kids just like to write and get it done with and others like to decorate their pages to no end and it works for both. I really appreciate the endless pages at NotebookingPages.com. There is a page that will fit with just about anything that we want to do.

The possibilities are endless. When I purchased my membership last year I was at the end of my rope. I was burnt out with homeschool. The kids were burnt out with the daily hassle of worksheets. Then I found the notebooking pages and I was hooked. We are using them with our current studies with Classical Conversations. We love this product. This saved my sanity in homeschooling my children. And now with the publisher, my girls and I are going to have a blast creating pages to go in our notebooks. And after watching the videos on the Book of Centuries and trying the template, I am super excited for this school year.

When we first decided to homeschool, I did a lot of research. During my research I kept coming across this thing called “notebooking”. I had no idea what this was so I just kept doing my research. Well, I stumbled across notebookingpages.com and read everything! I knew I wanted to give this notebooking thing a try. So, I purchased a CD of your notbooking pages. Since this is our first year homeschooling I wanted to start small with the notebooking so my oldest and I are notebooking our way through the 50 States. It has been a great experience and she is learning some great research skills. Next year we plan to add science to our notebooking! Thank for all the great pages!

I’m a homeschooling mom of 4 children who are various ages. One child has moderate/severe ADHD. We’ve tried various ways of learning and found that notebooking and lapbooking was the most successful and the best received. We’ve been using these wonderful notebooking pages for years! Each time we begin a new unit, I simply log in to print the needed pages and we are on our way to another great learning adventure. These pages have saved me so much time over the years and I am truly grateful for all of your efforts. I always recommend these pages to friends and family!

I have been using the “freebies” for some time. I have gotten a whole lot of mileage out of the lined papers and the science experiment papers. I have used several others as well. This is my 3rd year homeschooling, and although I use a curriculum, I use the pages to supplement what we are doing. In science, we use the experiment pages to take notes and create easy study pages. I use the history pages for the same purpose. However, I keep coming back to the site to find more pages as we advance in our studies. I am seeing so many exciting pages, for geography, anatomy, history that I kept longing for that weren’t freebies. I just jumped in today and purchased the lifetime membership, and my creative ideas are flowing. I can’t wait to use the pages in conjunction with our curriculum to enhance what we are learning, instead of just flying over the materials. My child gets excited about history, so now we can create a notebook of her favorite topics. The possibilities are endless! My only regret is waiting so long to become a lifetime member.

I initially signed up for the freebies to “test the waters” of notebooking. Wow! It has transformed our days!! My kiddos are excited to write (what?!) and seem to really be retaining what they are learning. They are so enthusiastic about their work and to top it off they can’t wait until the end of the day to share with daddy what they have been learning! I’m sold! We are now Lifetime Members! I wish I could remember how I was initially introduced to notebooking. I believe I Providentially stumbled upon this website for it has been the springboard for major changes in our home.
After almost a decade of homeschooling, I knew what I wanted our schooling to look like, but at the same time I knew it was looking less and less like my vision. When I discovered these notebooking pages, I decided to use the freebies offered to try it out with my children. They didn’t really notice a difference at first, so I began substituting some of our “independent” work with more notebooking pages. I was so pleased with the outcome. My children were becoming masters of the material we studied!
I was sold! I purchased the Notebooking Pages Membership during the Fall Sale and took advantage of the other bonuses offered. I asked for the Epi Kardia curriculum for Christmas and was again very pleased.
My children were not as optimistic as I was about starting “another new curriculum.” I was so pleased yesterday to hear my oldest son comment, “Is this what we’re going to do more of? This is really fun!” I am now spending time reading all those wonderful books with my children, exploring the volumes of creative notebooking pages for ways to express what we’ve learned, and sharing it all with excitement to Daddy when he comes home. What a blessing this has been for our family.
The key to our successful transition to notebooking was the wonderfully helpful emails that I received the first couple weeks after my registration on the website. Each email walked me through the process of incorporating these into our schooling. Without that I would have been too overwhelmed to know where to start. Instead it was an exciting process and a gradual (more permanent) transition.
