What a blessing you are to so many homeschooling families! Notebooking is the answer to my prayers!

It seemed like our homeschool was lacking something. The workbooks were dry & boring or repetitive. I discovered your site a year ago, purchased a year membership & we started our notebooking adventure! We have slowly integrated it into our homeschool day & now we are ready to start using it with all of our subjects. It was hard to tell myself to put those workbooks & other materials we purchased out of site & stick with the notebooking. I can see the difference in my kids, they like school, they want to do more!

My children really enjoy being creative with their notebook pages. Notebooking is helping me to teach language arts to my children the natural way with out all the boring workbooks that sometimes bring tears. This method of homeschooling has inspired my children to learn, to explore, to be creative and to write!

My year membership just expired & I knew I had to purchase a lifetime membership this time around! I am looking forward to all of the awesome notebooks they will create in the future! The 3-D pages & the publisher look great! Purchasing a lifetime membership is one of the best investments we have made in our homeschool journey. After looking at the idea of notebooking for the last two years…we are DOING IT this year! I have looked at your site off and on as well as many others and even contemplated making my own pages for a million different topics but the realization that I came to every time was that the page I would create would be JUST LIKE what I see on your site! The details, the space to write, the different formats for different ages, the massive number of subject areas…the reasons are absolutely endless that I finally committed and bought my Lifetime membership to start using! We are so tired of book work alone and this has led all of to just dread school time and the threats of them having to get on that big yellow bus at the crack of dawn have been flowing more and more freely in our home! With 5 kids…4 of which will be school age this fall I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to introduce this into our schooldays! We can do so much more together and tie in everything I have always wanted to with Music, Science, and History! I am so excited for our new year again and I wanted to tell you thank you so much for allowing me the freedom of not recreating the wheel!!! Anyone on the fence, don’t wait as long as I did! After many times of wanting to take the plunge, today I did just that. I bought the lifetime membership, and I’m so glad I did. I’m truly blown away by the pages and topics offered. It has got me revved up again and ready to dig in with my kids. I’ve already printed off pages and the kids have ran, dug out books and began researching so they can do their fun pages. Thank you for saving me time and helping my kids learn in fun ways. I believe learning that’s enjoyed is learning that stays. Keep up the good work and may God bless you for all your hard work. My kids ages are 15, 13, 9, and 8. They are all as excited as I am. The best part is I can print off the pages we need and take them with us everywhere we go.

I wish I could remember how I was initially introduced to notebooking. I believe I Providentially stumbled upon this website for it has been the springboard for major changes in our home.

After almost a decade of homeschooling, I knew what I wanted our schooling to look like, but at the same time I knew it was looking less and less like my vision. When I discovered these notebooking pages, I decided to use the freebies offered to try it out with my children. They didn’t really notice a difference at first, so I began substituting some of our “independent” work with more notebooking pages. I was so pleased with the outcome. My children were becoming masters of the material we studied!

I was sold! I purchased the Notebooking Pages Membership during the Fall Sale and took advantage of the other bonuses offered. I asked for the Epi Kardia curriculum for Christmas and was again very pleased.

My children were not as optimistic as I was about starting “another new curriculum.” I was so pleased yesterday to hear my oldest son comment, “Is this what we’re going to do more of? This is really fun!” I am now spending time reading all those wonderful books with my children, exploring the volumes of creative notebooking pages for ways to express what we’ve learned, and sharing it all with excitement to Daddy when he comes home. What a blessing this has been for our family.

The key to our successful transition to notebooking was the wonderfully helpful emails that I received the first couple weeks after my registration on the website. Each email walked me through the process of incorporating these into our schooling. Without that I would have been too overwhelmed to know where to start. Instead it was an exciting process and a gradual (more permanent) transition.

We started out with just doing notebooking for small projects and for the occasional handwriting exercise. I used to think it was one of those areas that our family didn’t have time for or could afford. Then we started using Mystery of History and Apologia Science and found that notebooking worked great with both of them. I truly believe that my children have enjoyed both of those subjects more and have learned more than they ever would have if we had only followed the “traditional” textbook approach. I am a former public school teacher of 13 years. When I began homeschooling my children 2 years ago, I desperately wanted to find something that could help me create the kind of notebooks and folder books that I used with my public school children. I was so thrilled to find a way to make sure they were retaining information, practicing their writing skills, improving their handwriting, all while having a good time.

…he LOVED doing it!!! It made the whole experience SO MUCH more of a learning experience…

I just started homeschooling my 5-year old son for kindergarten this year. I’m new to homeschooling, and we are going through a charter school – so we are given a curriculum and assignments. But I have been frustrated with the curriculum and textbooks, and my son has been less than enthusiastic with the number of worksheets and “busy-work” and I was beginning to feel like I was killing his natural love for learning. Here I had this incredible child who is already reading on a 5th grade level, doing end-of-1st grade math, and yet he was starting to hate “school.” I felt like I was failing. I started researching online for other homeschooling ideas, and came across the whole notion of notebooking, and it immediately appealed to me. It seemed so much more flexible than the curriculum we were assigned now, and it seemed like my son would be actually learning more than when he’s just filling in blanks or drawing lines from pictures to words on worksheets.

My first trial was with one of the science notebooking pages. I printed the one with space for 3 pictures and then primary-lined writing area. We did a science experiment, and rather than just DO it, like we normally would have, after the experiment, I had my son draw pictures of the stages of the experiment and asked him to write a sentence about what he learned – and he LOVED doing it!!! It made the whole experience SO MUCH more of a learning experience, and even though it’s been a couple weeks, he’s STILL talking about it! Even though he generally dislikes writing, he truly enjoyed that experience, and I hope to have many more like it!! Thank you for opening a whole new world to us!!

What a blessing it is to have all of these resources at my fingertips…

I have loved having access to all of your notebooking pages as a Lifetime Member. Paying for access to that was really a no-brainer for me. What a blessing it is to have all of these resources at my fingertips to print whenever I need….versus spending hours attempting to either create what I need or search for it on the internet. Your hard work has paid off to serve at least one family (although I know there are many more than just us!). THANK YOU doesn’t seem like an adequate way to express our gratitude!
