I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, they remember more. Light bulbs click.  Eyes shine! We have a growing collection of their homeschool journey lining our bookshelves.

This is not how homeschooling was supposed to be!

Our curriculum just isn’t working. My child hates writing. How do I homeschool multiple children and not lose my mind? I’m tired of all this busywork. My child’s not motivated (honestly, I’m not motivated). I need to simplify our day. Would love to add delight-directed learning to our day. My kids aren’t retaining anything. Want something to cement what we are learning. Need more variety in our day. Tired of wasting money on resources we don’t use. Want a more personalized education. Want an easier way to keep track of what we are learning. Kids can’t wait for the school day to FINALLY be over. Want something tangible to help lessons "stick". Want my children to learn, not just pass a test. Want my kids to enjoy learning without having to prod. Feel like we are not getting enough done. We are so bored!

Take a peek into my homeschool story.

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (Part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (Part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
The Victory over Busywork and Overwhelm (Part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

I would like to thank you for your hard work and sharing it with us to save us time. My husband is a very visual person and loves to see the girls (7 and 5) work. However, it is not until he sees their completed notebooks that he understands how hard they work, how much they learn and how much fun they have. Again, thank you for sharing your "Treasures" with us.

Thank you for your free spelling sheets. I will be teaching an SWR class this weekend and sharing your spelling sheets with the class and I'll also mention about all your other great products! Thanks again!

We bought the notebooking pages [membership] a couple of years ago and love the convenience of them. It seems no matter what we're studying, there is a notebooking page all ready to go and several to choose from. Love the ease of it all.

Thanks for all your hard work, I'll be using these for years to come.

I really love notebookingpages.com. I’m new to notebooking and this site has made my life so much easier. There are so many different categories and subjects covered, I’ll never have to go anywhere else to find what I need.

We have been using the Ancient History notebooking pages with Story of the World Vol. 1 this year, and I was able to match one or more pages to each chapter to go along with our studies. My son Aidan loves it!

Just want to say thank you for all that you offer. At the moment we can't afford to become members, but your freebies have added a lot to our lessons...Notebooking is new to us, and we are starting out small, but I feel once our son gets more into writing he will have me printing out a lot more paper.

He did his thank you notes, and Christmas notes on your notebooking pages...I feel what we have done so far has been nicer looking then throwing it together. He did a time line of Harriet Tubman and with one of the pages he drew details of her life in the boxes and added his own words..This will be fun and I think these pages will encourage him to write...I feel this is a ministry and hope your family knows it is a blessing...

So many options to choose from when preparing materials for children of different ages and abilities. I love all of the artwork and the customized pages for science and history. Am really looking forward to experimenting with the publisher tool!!

I love, love, love using the pre-formatted notebooking pages! As a member it is very convenient to come to the download center to pick the pages I need without having to store everything on my computer or use a CD. The download center is logically organized which makes finding what you need a breeze. I haven’t had the need to use the publisher yet, but plan on using it this year for history and copywork. I did try the publisher when it was first introduced and found it easy to use, I love the fact that you can make custom pages with ease. If you have ever tried to make notebook pages with Word, you know how much hard, head-scratching work it is, the Publisher is much easier and less frustrating than anything I have ever tried to create on my own.
