I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, they remember more. Light bulbs click.  Eyes shine! We have a growing collection of their homeschool journey lining our bookshelves.

This is not how homeschooling was supposed to be!

Our curriculum just isn’t working. My child hates writing. How do I homeschool multiple children and not lose my mind? I’m tired of all this busywork. My child’s not motivated (honestly, I’m not motivated). I need to simplify our day. Would love to add delight-directed learning to our day. My kids aren’t retaining anything. Want something to cement what we are learning. Need more variety in our day. Tired of wasting money on resources we don’t use. Want a more personalized education. Want an easier way to keep track of what we are learning. Kids can’t wait for the school day to FINALLY be over. Want something tangible to help lessons "stick". Want my children to learn, not just pass a test. Want my kids to enjoy learning without having to prod. Feel like we are not getting enough done. We are so bored!

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (Part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (Part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
The Victory over Busywork and Overwhelm (Part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

The possibilities are endless. When I purchased my membership last year I was at the end of my rope. I was burnt out with homeschool. The kids were burnt out with the daily hassle of worksheets. Then I found Notebooking Pages and I was hooked. We are using them with our current studies with classical conversations. We love this product. This saved my sanity in homeschooling my children. And now with the notebooking publisher, my girls and I are going to have a blast creating pages to go in our notebooks. And after watching the videos on the Book of Centuries and trying the template, I am super excited for this school year.

We are having fun figuring out the notebooking publisher part of the membership. Our first page turned out really great and my daughter is excited about making her notebooks look really cool this school year! So glad we renewed and looking forward to seeing the future of the notebooking publisher.

I was looking for something different for our homeschool because what we were using just didn’t quite fit. I searched and found Notebooking Pages. It is such a wonderful site. The notebooking pages that they have are wonderful for many different subjects and ages, and their notebooking instructions and videos are very helpful. I feel like this website has added something wonderful to our homeschooling day. Thank you Notebooking Pages!

Notebooking Pages is our go to site for all our Notebooking needs. My daughter especially loves Notebooking Publisher. This site motivates her to want to create and learn. She is retaining more information than ever, and is even working above grade level. We discovered Notebooking within months of beginning our homeschool journey, I couldn’t imagine educating any other way. My daughter wouldn’t want to learn in any other way.
Though my daughter has always been a good student, she wasn’t an independent thinker when it came to learning, unlike her older siblings. She just read what she was told, answered questions at the end of a chapter, and took a test. Then we began homeschooling in 6th grade, now approaching the end of 7th grade, my daughter actually makes out her own schedule of what she wants to read and Notebook on, she has taken initiative in her own education. She now has an interest in History, Classical Music, Art, Literature, and chooses topics most kids wouldn’t.

Like you, I had preconceived notions of the “perfect” homeschool education. I spent a great deal of money our first year on material she never even used. Then when I discovered notebooking, we invested in paper, art supplies, a comb binder, laminator and a library card. She is a happier student, I am a happier mom.

I think Notebooking should be an educational law. I apologize for my lengthy reply, but I have become not only passionate about Notebooking, but a huge advocate. Your site is easy to navigate, and offers a wide variety of subjects and topics. Though we follow a Charlotte Mason style curriculum, Notebooking truly will work with any style or methods of teaching.

My daughter has used the Copywork Winter and Christmas paper for writing thank you notes from her Christmas gifts. She really enjoys coloring the pictures after writing her note.

This is worth every cent. A lifetime membership is such a valuable tool. Being able to use living books and have your children create amazing pages. It totally gives your child a canvas to own their learning with. So thankful for Debra’s work, what a blessing!

I no longer have to make any decisions about what to purchase and download, I have access to EVERYTHING! Being a member brings a real treasure.

I want to say how happy I was to see the Elvis notebooking page. This was a golden opportunity to talk about many who celebrated or would have celebrated their birthdays this months. Although not a president, his music and mannerisms brought about a drastic change to our country.

My son loves his music especially his gospel music and I used this notebooking sheet to discuss the pros and cons of that.

Love our 'pages'...

We use your USA State Geography notebooking pages and we love them! I have used notebook pages from other sites for previous State studies, but yours far surpass any others I have used. These notebooking pages are wonderful because they include so much beyond the usual flag, motto and map pages. I love the inclusion of inventors and travel pages. We also love the various page layouts included for each activity, since each of my children are different learners. Thank you so much for this wonderful resource! It is great to have everything we need for our State studies available in one package!

Basic Notebooking Pages are my standard go to! I have other downloads but these are great for our CM homeschool. After reading a book, doing a science experiment or what ever, the Basic Pages have so many different layouts that suite any sort of review. They are quick to print (usually I decide to use after we finish a book) I am not a planner, and that is what is great about them, different styles to suite any need. And they look great when the children are done. Great for samples for our portfolio, they look like a lot of time was invested in them.

We have 10 dc so for simplicity- go with the Basic Notebooking Pages. LOVE 'em

I recently just signed up for the lifetime membership after seeing so many wonderful templates to use for notebooking. I had planned on beginning homeschooling my oldest daughter next school term; however, my husband and I decided to pull her out earlier. I was ready for next school year as far as planning goes, but I really had to scramble to prepare the remaining of this year. Notebooking, interactive notebooks, and hand-made products are things I had planned on doing… I was going to make up most of these on my own, but then I found Notebooking Pages! It just made sense to me to use what was already out there and just create my own where needed. Anyway, we have already used the templates and the publisher (which is awesome) for a report on Jupiter. My daughter was so excited to do this project on her own!
