I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, they remember more. Light bulbs click.  Eyes shine! We have a growing collection of their homeschool journey lining our bookshelves.

This is not how homeschooling was supposed to be!

Our curriculum just isn’t working. My child hates writing. How do I homeschool multiple children and not lose my mind? I’m tired of all this busywork. My child’s not motivated (honestly, I’m not motivated). I need to simplify our day. Would love to add delight-directed learning to our day. My kids aren’t retaining anything. Want something to cement what we are learning. Need more variety in our day. Tired of wasting money on resources we don’t use. Want a more personalized education. Want an easier way to keep track of what we are learning. Kids can’t wait for the school day to FINALLY be over. Want something tangible to help lessons "stick". Want my children to learn, not just pass a test. Want my kids to enjoy learning without having to prod. Feel like we are not getting enough done. We are so bored!

Take a peek into my homeschool story.

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (Part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (Part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
The Victory over Busywork and Overwhelm (Part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

I just had to share how wonderful and what a godsend this site has been for us.I used to come out here and print off your free products. They worked so well for our studies that I had to buy a treasury membership(we are currently studying ancient Egypt). Imagine my surprise when I opened my e-mail to find out that I had won the 2011 expo from TOS.Thank You so much for the exceptional products you produce at such a reasonable price. HS mom of 7.

I just had to stop by and say that I recently purchased the Ancient Egypt notebooking pages and we love them! We use My Father's World curriculum and we are studying "creation to the Greeks" and these pages have been a wonderful asset to MFW. My kids range in ages: 10, 8, 6, and 4 and there is a page that fits each child's age. Thank you so much for making quality pages at affordable prices.

The possibilities are endless. When I purchased my membership last year I was at the end of my rope. I was burnt out with homeschool. The kids were burnt out with the daily hassle of worksheets. Then I found Notebooking Pages and I was hooked. We are using them with our current studies with classical conversations. We love this product. This saved my sanity in homeschooling my children. And now with the notebooking publisher, my girls and I are going to have a blast creating pages to go in our notebooks. And after watching the videos on the Book of Centuries and trying the template, I am super excited for this school year.

We have been using the basic notebooking package to have the kids write recipes that they have enjoyed. These pages will eventually become a cookbook for them when they get married. It is also an adorable way of preserving their writing.

I have been using the “freebees” for some time. I have gotten a whole lot of mileage out of the lined papers and the science experiment papers. I have used several others as well. This is my 3rd year homeschooling, and although I use a curriculum, I use the pages to supplement what we are doing. In science, we use the experiment pages to take notes and create easy study pages. I use the history pages for the same purpose. However, I keep coming back to the site to find more pages as we advance in our studies. I am seeing so many exciting pages, for geography, anatomy, history that I kept longing for that weren’t freebees. I just jumped in today and purchased the lifetime membership, and my creative ideas are flowing. I can’t wait to use the pages in conjunction with our curriculum to enhance what we are learning, instead of just flying over the materials. My child gets excited about history, so now we can create a notebook of her favorite topics. The possibilities are endless! My only regret is waiting so long to become a lifetime member.

I want to share how liberated I felt when I discovered NotebookingPages. I had spent countless attempts at trying to make my own *creative* pages, with lines and pictures etc not knowing that there was the best website in the world for all the *creative* pages I needed. Realising now that there was such a thing as *Notebooking* I bought a couple of products from Debra and then decided to take the plunge and buy a LIFETIME membership. It's the best homeschool decision I have ever made. My boring lessons have been made exciting by all the wonderful pages that our thoughts, ideas and lessons can be printed and written on. Do I have any particular favourites? I must confess that I really cannot decide. They are all so great and worthy of top place. Thank you Debra..... with all my heart~

I purchased the pages for "Wildflowers, Weeds, and Garden Flowers" and I have one regret--that I didn't order the complete Nature Study set!! (a mistake I intend to remedy soon!)

For each plant featured, the pages include a small color picture, which is nice to help the children identify it in the wild and know how to color it. Then there is such a delightful selection of pages for each species. Older children can draw the plant on one nice big sheet or have lines to write about the plant as well as draw the plant on another sheet. Younger children can just color a large picture of the plant, or color a picture on a page that has just a few lines for journaling.

The set is appropriate for all ages, preschool through high school, and we will be using it with all our children for many years to come.

I love Notebooking! It is such a great way for the children to "show what they know" right at the level they are at. Some of my kids have trouble writing--they are so glad to have space to draw pictures and the layouts are inspiring, because there are many pages with fewer lines--not so intimidating. The selection is amazing--and always growing! I am also LOVING the [LIFETIME Membership] idea, because I have always "wanted it all" and now I can have it!!!

I now have a LIFETIME membership. Your pages are very worth while as they are comprehensive, and make it easy to find what I need. If you don't have something for a specific topic, no problem. Your basic pages pack has something that will fit right in. I think just your collection of basic pages have been used enough times to make it worth what I paid.

We have really enjoyed notebooking in our homeschool and truly appreciate all the information that you have about it. We've now managed to work it smoothly into our days. Often times when teaching it is (obviously) not just enough to spout off facts and expect the kids to remember it. With the notebooking pages I don't have to spend lots of time looking for comprehension activities...just print out a notebooking page and set the kids to work! I only wish I could have done notebooks as a kid.

We just started with the notebooking pages from the basic lined page and already. it changes the way the girls looked at their days of work. they already like to draw, but now, they can do it most of the time. Wow!!! I wish I've taken the time to visit the site before....;-)))
