I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'.

Debra Reed Owner, Publisher NotebookingPages.com
Mom of 10 ... ages young to adult

After 6 years of homeschooling, I knew I wasn’t giving my kids the 'best of the best'. I didn’t want them to turn out like me, a great student who 20 years later, with high school & college diplomas in hand, doesn’t remember much of anything taught.

When we notebook our studies, quite frankly, the knowledge STICKS. Lightbulbs click and eyes shine! We have a growing treasury of their homeschooling journey.

My mission is to help YOU break free from busywork, burnout, and overwhelm
to find success and freedom for YOUR children.

Discouraged or frustrated with your current homeschooling situation? Please check out the posts below.

These posts give you a glimpse of my path from doom & gloom to victory!

The Doom & Gloom of Homeschooling (part 1)
We all have days (maybe weeks, months, even years), where we are plain worn out, discouraged, or frustrated with homeschooling. Homeschooling just isn’t working out like we thought it would (or should).
3 Homeschooling Myths that Trapped Me (part 2)
I have found that the things I am most passionate about are often the things that bring me the most overwhelm. Why? I tend to do everything I can to make my most passionate dreams a success and end up lost ...
Victory over Busywork, Boredom, & Burnout (part 3)
With these two tools, she said I could completely change the dynamics of how we homeschool. After six years of overwhelm, I was ready to try anything!

Notebooking Pages is wonderful. So many ideas and options. Oh, to have enough printer ink and time to do them all! Debra’s work is terrific, and on so many themes and ideas. Definitely something for everyone.

Thank you for LIFETIME Membership offer it is very affordable. Our son had a stroke, causing long and short term memory. Notebooking is great for him, they aid with recall, memory and he really enjoys them. They are easy to adapted to his level yet are still challenging enough for him. Education has not been easy but with the help of your site he is interested, and it frees up a lot of my time. Again Thank you and God bless

We just started using Notebooking Pages this year and it has added so much ease to our history lessons. No longer do I have to wonder what they are learning – they are showing me. They are proud of their pages and love looking back which works as a great way to review!!

I just started homeschooling my 5-year old son for kindergarten this year. I'm new to homeschooling, and we are going through a charter school - so we are given a curriculum and assignments. But I have been frustrated with the curriculum and textbooks, and my son has been less than enthusiastic with the number of worksheets and "busy-work," and I was beginning to feel like I was killing his natural love for learning. Here I had this incredible child who is already reading on a 5th grade level, doing end-of-1st grade math, and yet he was starting to hate "school." I felt like I was failing. I started researching online for other homeschooling ideas, and came across the whole notion of notebooking, and it immediately appealed to me. It seemed so much more flexible than the curriculum we were assigned now, and it seemed like my son would be actually learning more than when he's just filling in blanks or drawing lines from pictures to words on worksheets.

My first trial was with one of the freebie science notebooking pages. I printed the one with space for 3 pictures and then primary-lined writing area. We did a science experiment, and rather than just DO it, like we normally would have, after the experiment, I had my son draw pictures of the stages of the experiment and asked him to write a sentence about what he learned - and he LOVED doing it!!! It made the whole experience SO MUCH more of a learning experience, and even though it's been a couple weeks, he's STILL talking about it! Even though he generally dislikes writing, he truly enjoyed that experience, and I hope to have many more like it!! Thank you for opening a whole new world to us!!

I first learned about Notebooking at a homeschool convention last year. After the convention I started Googling Notebooking to find out how to get started. I came across this page (Notebooking Pages) and I’m so glad I found this valuable resource! I became a Lifetime Member and believe it has been a great investment. I began having my 8 year old son do Notebooking pages for History, copywork and some other misc character and missionary studies. Each week I look at what we will be reading in history as part of our Sonlight core, then I search for those topics on NotebookingPages.com and print out pages to go with those subjects (which by the way, we have never searched for a topic and not found it here on this website — this resource has every topic imaginable!). My son also likes to do the 3D pages. When we finish this school year we will have a beautiful keepsake of all that he has learned this year. I am hoping to be able to buy one of those binding tools from Amazon to bind our notebooks together at the end of this year. Thank you so much for providing this great tool.

I have 4 kids 8,8,4 & 3. When we started homeschooling 2 years ago I was so overwhelmed, trying to figure out how to make sure they retained what we learned. When I found https://notebookingpages.com I was so thrilled to find a way to make sure they were retaining information, practicing their writing skills, improving their handwriting, all while having a good time. This was the answer! As I started notebooking I learning that even beyond being great for my 8 year olds, the little ones (4 &3) enjoying coloring, drawing and beginning their writing skills on the notebook pages as well! Now it’s a full family activity, and I am able to give each child a page that is at their level in the same subject! A total homeschool homerun!

Thank you for the use of all your great notebooking pages at such a great price and lifetime membership! I just registered last week after learning about your website on bow of bronze blog. I am exploring your site now and I am excited about all the possibilities we will have with notebooking! Our first undertaking is going to be a character study notebook during the summer. I hope my son will love your stuff as much as I do!! Thanks!

I would like to thank you for your hard work and sharing it with us to save us time. My husband is a very visual person and loves to see the girls (7 and 5) work. However, it is not until he sees their completed notebooks that he understands how hard they work, how much they learn and how much fun they have. Again, thank you for sharing your "Treasures" with us.

I never understood notebooking until I discovered your site. After becoming a member and buying several individual files, I purchased the CD and am anxiously waiting it's arrival. Thank you for all your hard work, and I pray that your new arrival comes safely!

We have been using the Ancient History notebooking pages with Story of the World Vol. 1 this year, and I was able to match one or more pages to each chapter to go along with our studies. My son Aidan loves it!
