    Mac user having problems reloading custom created template

    My son has very much been enjoying writing his narrations using the notebooking publisher, so I decided tonight to attempt creating some personalized templates for him to use. I had no problem creating templates or saving them to my computer (using the method described in the video tutorial.) But I have been unable to upload my templates back into the publisher. I have tried creating several templates and then tried to upload, and each time I get this error:
    Transfer error
    textStatus = error
    errorThrown = Internal Server Error
    jqXHR.status = 500
    jqXHR.statusText = Internal Server Error

    Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know if it's because I'm using a Mac - or if it's user error on my part...

    Our biggest issue with Macs has been a browser incompatibility. Are you using Safari? We have heard from other customers that there is an issue with uploading photos in Safari. Uploading your templates is essentially the same as uploading a photo. This problem usually fixes itself when using Firefox instead.

    If you could report back with more details about the browser in a support ticket, I'll be able to help you with troubleshooting in a more efficient manner.

    Thank you!

    Thank you Debra for your reply and for the tips you sent in the support ticket.

    For anyone else using a Mac and having difficulty uploading custom templates, I will tell you what worked for me. I followed the instructions from the video tutorial, saving my custom created template as a JPEG onto my computer. As I stated in the above, when I tried to upload that JPEG file into the NB publisher, I got an error.

    So, once the image was saved on my computer as a JPEG (I just saved it on my desktop for ease of working with it.) I double clicked on the file, which opened the image up in the app "Preview." I then went to the pull down menu under "file" and clicked "save as." I renamed the file, so that I would be able to tell it from the first one that I saved, and then clicked the save button, which resaved it as a JPEG file onto my desktop. I then followed the instructions from the video tutorial and uploaded this second saved image into the NT publisher, and it worked.

    i have no idea why this worked, but it did. I hope this helps anyone else using a mac
