So far, I have been creating notebooking pages with my 7th grader. We use Beautiful Feet for our history and she has to create little biographies of the historical figures as she encounters them in her reading. So she goes to the computer and does a little research and writes up a paragraph or two in a google document. (We have always used google documents as our means of sharing composition files back and forth because we can access them immediately in real time from any computer.) Then she lets me know to pull up the file on my laptop. We have a little editing session where we work together to make any changes needed in her composition. Because it is real-time, I can highlight things and she can change them or I can make suggestions, etc. which she can see. OK, so the text is edited and ready to use. Now, she comes to my laptop and I pull up the Notebooking Publisher. We choose a template together to begin with. Then I upload any graphics we want to use into our images area. From there, we create the page, inserting titles, dates, images, and pasting the text from her document.
We are so amazed at how easy this is and how awesome her notebooking pages look when we are done! Right now she is watching me do them and we are figuring out the ins and outs of using the program. I am hoping that soon she will be creating the pages all on her own. Notebooking has just gotten so much easier!!!
I shared a page we did today on Marco Polo. I'm not sure where on the website those shared pages go, but it should be there if anyone wants to see it. Thanks Debra and your team for such a great program. This is seriously cool!![]()

Thank you so much for sharing.
