    Downloading pictures from Notebookingpages.com

Hi! On Sunday I was able to make 4 notebooking pages with the Publisher! Once I watched all the helpful videos (thank you!), I felt like an expert already!! Downloading pictures from the internet was a breeze. And, I feel like your tutorials really helped me with doing some tricks on my computer outside of the scope of the publisher as well.

My main question is: Can we download pictures from notebookingpages.com? You have such a wonderful array of pictures there already. For example, I wanted to print up a notebook page that had a picture of all the writers of the Declaration of the Independence. Since I know you have pictures of all them on your site, it would have been perfect to download all their pictures from there (instead of printing them all up separately, cutting them up, and having the children paste them). However, I couldn't figure out how to do that. Plus, I feel safer downloading pictures from a site, such as notebookingpages.com, that I can trust. A couple of images I tried to download from online, my computer blocked because of viruses.

All in all, the Publisher is a great tool and I am sure glad that you came up with such a brilliant idea!

    Thanks!

I'm SO glad you are enjoying The Notebooking Publisher!

No, this is not something we can do. I *wish* we could! Many of the images we use are purchased and so I cannot transfer them to you in that sort of format due to copyright.

However, I have found a great site for historical clipart from the public domain:

I do understand the issue with downloading concerns. This is something I'm hoping our developer can work on for us .... maybe a copy/paste feature where you could just copy the image and paste it directly to the workspace. Not sure how involved that little "action" would be to create for us. It amazes me how much code goes into building this app.

Thank you! I totally understand the whole copyright situation. It makes sense. Thanks once again for giving me some alternatives!

    All the best~
