As the saying goes, there is good news and then there is bad news. I always like the bad news first … The Notebooking Publisher will NOT be available as a single purchase, meaning you cannot come to NotebookingPages.com and JUST buy The Notebooking Publisher. I know this will be widely requested, but due to the nature of the application and how it works with our templates, this is just not a possibility at this time. The GOOD news … and this is the REALLY GOOD news! The Notebooking Publisher will be added to all active Treasury Memberships absolutely FREE! So, any paying (active)Treasury Member will have access to The Notebooking Publisher at NO additional cost. This an update to beat ALL updates!!! I wanted The Notebooking Publisher to be an ADDED value to your Treasury Membership. I know this will be a HUGE benefit to all who use it. There are definitely costs involved in developing, hosting, updating, upgrading, etc. this app, but as long as you keep your membership active, we feel our out-of-pocket costs should stay well-balanced and we will not have need to raise your annual renewal fee. It will be released in June (maybe sooner) and will automatically become part of any membership that is “active”. So, yes, if you buy in May, it will definitely be part of your first year’s membership. :) If you buy during our sale, you’ll actually get 15 months active membership.
This sounds SO great…being a scrapbooker and graphic designer, this really taps in to MY learning preference! LOL Hopefully it will be the kids’ passion too. For about 2 weeks now I have been tirelessly researching notebooking and preparing for starting it over the summer. Now, there’s no excuse! Thank you.

This IS a wonderful addition! So many possibilities now! Very generous to include it in the treasury membership! My children are going to enjoy this, I know! The only trouble is that they are going to enjoy it so much that I’m sure they will slow down their study pace to get the page *just* right! :-)

We have just started notebooking. My 13 yo son is not convinced that it is such a great thing but we are persevering. I may consider purchasing a membership if I don’t win one (that would be so cool). I think he would enjoy typing and designing his pages.

Wow this is just what I need for Squashy, his handwriting is appalling, we’ve just discovered it also hurts him to write for very long because he has hyper-mobile fingers (how come I didn’t notice sometime in the last 10 years?) My friend and I would like to take advantage of the 2- for-2 sale. Will the publisher be included with our memberships? And, if so, when do we have to buy to be sure we get the publisher. And since the second year is free, will the publisher be included in that as well?
Awesome question! Yes, the publisher will be included in your memberships (when it comes available in June). Once it becomes available, it will be added to all memberships that are “active” (meaning renewals are up to date). Make sense? And yes to your second question too – you will have it for the second year as well. :)
Yay! This sounds awesome! Thank you for including it in our memberships!!! For me, the best reason of all was the typed versions. My son has Asperger’s and ADHD and he HATES anything to do with writing. He prefers the notebooking and lapbooking pages to plain white notebook pages, but hates to write period. One of his doctors has suggested that he be allowed to type as much as possible, but that never really worked with either notebooking or lapbooking. So there have been battles. This is going to help SO much – thank you, Debra, for thinking of it and producing it. Now my son can type while my daughter writes and we can all do things together!!!
Ok, so now I just explained to my son (a 12 year old reluctant notebooker!) the exciting news and his immediate response was, “That is so awesome!!! That is going to be so great!!” Thank you!

When we just used lots of the notebooking pages for our Science Fair projects, I was thinking, boy wouldn’t it be nice if we could just type the narrations right on the pages? (We cut and pasted). Like another mom said…”I feel like it’s my birthday!” This will also be a good incentive for my kids to work on their typing skills!

I have been tossing around the idea of getting a subscription over the last few weeks. I am childfree this weekend and decided to join today. I open my email and here is your great news! I guess I will wait until Monday then and get the 15month subscription and be entitled to the publisher. My son, like someone above hates writing and types all his work up and we put them into a Notebooking type format. We have just completed an ANZC Day page and excerpt for his book of centuries and then discovered your wonderful Memorial Day pages. Boy we could have done with those last week, modified them slightly (we had all the necessary artwork etc) and saved ourselves a whole bunch of time and effort. With your new program we could have done exactly that. Thank you in anticipation – we are both excited and can’t wait to start!
This IS big news! I so appreciate your Notebooking Treasury Membership – what a timesaver, and the pages are beautiful. My son, like Stacie said, started out just trying to fill up the spaces. Then I would print several sheets and give him a choice. Now he looks forward to seeing what variety there are first — they lead to all kinds of great thinking, just the way they’re laid out.

I am extra excited that my husband bought me a subscription! I’d been trying to do some things in GIMP, which is a free software package that does PhotoShop things. But it never could solve the part for my son to type text in. It wasn’t designed to do that.
This is terrific; I think it will really help us to incorporate notebooking for the rest of middle school and into high school.
I am trying to understand exactly what I will be able to do on the notebook publisher, so please forgive my technical question. I use your blank notebooking pages to format my own “templates”. I used a program called Comic Life in landscape orientation and copy from my pdf’s – 2 portraits sideways on one page. I can then insert text boxes onto my new pages as well as import jpg’s. Although it is incredibly time consuming, the results are visually pleasing and exactly what I want. With the Notebook Publisher’s ability to create templates and blank pages, will I be able to do a similar thing with much more ease? Specifically, will I be able to choose two different portrait oriented templates – say one history event page and a continental map page – and put them on one landscape orientation blank page at 1/2 the original size? And then add headers and little extra’s? Or a quote page at 1/4 size with an image next to it with a timeline running along the bottom of the page? I hope that you can “see” what I am asking.
