Copywork Notebooking Pages: Floral Designs

Description: The copywork pages in this series have been designed to be used in a variety of copywork settings. Whether you are using them for Bible passages, poetry, literature, quotes, or other types of selections, you should be able to find a page with the right amount of lines needed that will “showcase” your child’s copywork without the clutter of unused lines on the page. (This set also available in our Copywork Themed Designs Complete Set.) Pages have been organized by “stanzas”. These stanzas include choices of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 lines as well as fully-lined pages. For each choice of numbered lines in a stanza, there are a variety of pages available starting with 2 stanzas per page. Also included are single stanzas for shorter selections. There are several of these stanzas organized on a page, each with their own title bar. Included is a “Table of Contents” page where your child may record his copywork selections. At the bottom of each copywork page is a space for the child to write page numbers. This may be done as he finishes each piece of copywork or at the end of the term. This year I'm teaching my elementary-age daughters about ancient history. I've chosen a variety of sources to round out the study, and this notebooking set quickly became our favorite! There are many options to choose from within each category, ranging from the basic to the richly and colorfully illustrated, from simple layouts with a few lines to "scrapbook style" layouts. In the section on Egyptians, for instance, there are several well-drawn black-and -white illustrations that depict many facets of Egyptian life, such as farming, hieroglyphics, mummification, and basket weaving. My girls have simply loved recording what they've learned in their history study on these notebooking pages. When daddy gets home in the evening, they can't wait to show him their creations! They go back to their notebooks often, browsing through them and excitedly discussing what they remember of each page!

Notebooking is fun and easy to implement, whether done daily or just occasionally. This Ancient Times Complete Notebooking Set has greatly enriched our study of this fascinating time period, and I highly recommend it for any school-age child!
